The website redesign for the City of Casa Grande was a massive project. It started as a request to change “only” the front page and link back to the old site. After analyzing the site, I insisted that the website needed information architecture restructuring and merely “changing” the front page would not solve any issues.
Extensive research and analytics were performed on the site to find the most important touchpoints and to create a new structure.
The City also needed a system to submit time-sensitive files to the website for public notices that did not rely on emails. A new system with version control was implemented that connected to the website.
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, AfterEffects, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Google Analytics, CrazyEgg, Google Drive, Lucid Chart, WordPress and others.
Note: Now the site does not look like what it did when the project was finished.
